The Rock Group Youth Community
Welcome to The Rock Group Youth Community (TRGYC)!
TRGYC is a strong, growing, multi-cultural network of young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years old. By mimicking the successful mantra of The Rock Church and "helping young people become," TRGYC is becoming a magnet for young people and an icon for youth spiritual and social development in the greater Sacramento area. TRGYC meets every Friday night for an alternating schedule that includes the Experience (breakout sessions), Lifejacket (life application Bible Study) and REUNION Youth Services. TRGYC also meets monthly for an Adventure (Jr. High & High School) & RoadTrip (18+), and can be found reaching out to and servicing the community on any given Saturday.
TRGYC exists to give every young person we come in contact with every opportunity to make it to Heaven – and eliminate every possible reason or excuse (there is none!) for going to Hell.

About the Youth Pastor
Johannes and Tawni Escudero have invested the last twelve years of their lives in youth ministry. While serving on the youth staff at The Rock Church, Johannes Escudero accepted his first youth pastorate in Oakland working with Pastor Young in urban branch ministry prior to becoming the Youth Pastor of The Rock Group Youth Community. He is a frequent consultant for youth ministries and guest speaker for youth events, services, and workshops. Pastor Johannes Escudero is completing his Master’s degree at Hope International University’s Apostolic School of Theology. He is also a certified financial counselor with Crown Financial. Tawni Escudero is also a leader in ministry. Before marrying Johannes, she served as Director of Church Ministries at First Church in San Jose and has served as both a college Registrar and Sunday School teacher for the 7th and 8th grade girls classes.
