Memorial Day Picnic 2009
It was another great time of fellowship, fun and food at The Rock Church’s annual Memorial Day Picnic. TRC friends and families gather each year at the Elk Grove Regional Park in Elk Grove and enjoy various activities such as volleyball, water gun fights (yes plenty of those this year), jumper houses for the kids, horse shoes and of course the big favorite…baseball. If you missed your chance to participate in the baseball tournament, there is always next year, but you better get there early because teams fill up fast.
The Rock Church folks had lawn chairs and tents set up throughout the park, and got serious about their BBQ skills, kicked back and enjoyed the warm summer day. There were several jump houses set up for the kids to jump until their little hearts were content. If you walked around the park you would see plenty of smiles to go around as folks fellowshipped and enjoyed each other’s company.
